Hot place here. A bit creepy with the wedgies flying overhead. Anyway they were good people and helpful here.

I have enjoyed the town of Cloncurry when passing through a few times. The bakery is nice. However I have now stayed overnight, and will never do that again. Stayed in an upmarket motel (for that town) which was noisy with locals in the next room until 4.0 a.m.

Very helpful staff and an amazing museum covering Cloncurry history, aboriginal artifacts, Mary Katherine Mine, a huge rock collection, history of Burke and Wills, and much much more. Really enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it as a Cloncurry must do. It was a highlight of my trip :)
